Generating Token

We want that Sonar server should be able to communicate with the Jenkins server, like for sending the reports etc...so we need to generate a token and paste it in the Jenkins Credentials section.

Administration > Security > Users

Click on Update Tokens

Give a name to token and click on Generate

Copy the Token generated

Click here for further configuration to be done on the Jenkins instance.
